All patients are seen by appointment, please call in at reception or telephone us to book one. This can now be done up to two weeks in advance. You can also book appointments online. Please contact the surgery to discuss how to obtain a username and password.
If you wish to see a particular doctor for some or all of your medical conditions please let our reception staff know and we will endeavour comply with your wishes. This may not always be possible however, especially if you request an urgent appointment.
Morning surgeries run from 08:30 to 12:30. Afternoon surgeries run from 13:30 - 18:30.
Late appointments available Monday evenings and early appointments Tuesday mornings at Iver Medical Centre.
Improved access appointments available face to face and on the telephone on Mondays up to 19:30 with a GP.
Your doctor will be happy to give advice over the telephone when he or she is not consulting. The reception staff have been instructed not to interrupt a doctor if they are with a patient unless the call is urgent. You may therefore be asked for your contact number for the doctor to call back, usually p.m.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly. We have two specialist nurses, practice nurses and a healthcare assistant.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
